TRS1xxx uses a 225W CO2 laser and runs at up to 30m/min with standard unwinding up to 500mm. TRS2xxx uses a 350W laser and reaches up to 70m/min with high-capacity unwinding up to 800mm. TRS3xxx features a dual 350W configuration (up to 700W) achieving speeds up to 100m/min. TRS2xxx and TRS3xxx support optional varnish modules and corona treater. No. TAURUS uses a CO2 sealed laser source (10.25 μm) to cut labels digitally — no conventional die-cut plates required. This eliminates tooling costs, die storage and setup time, enabling immediate job changes and cost-effective production at any run length.
TAURUS supports kiss-cut (half cut leaving the liner intact), full cut (die cut through all layers), perforation and engraving. The cutting area is 330mm x 330mm with unlimited label length. It handles both printed and unprinted media rolls.
TAURUS is compatible with paper and plastic films (excluding PE). Web widths range from 50mm to 350mm. Input roll diameters are 500mm on TRS1xxx and up to 800mm on TRS2xxx/TRS3xxx. Dual-shaft rewinding handles finished rolls up to 400mm in diameter.
TAURUS includes a QR code reader as standard. When a new roll is loaded, the system reads the QR code printed on the media and automatically loads the corresponding job profile from the library — eliminating manual setup and reducing changeover time to near zero.
Yes. TRS2xxx and TRS3xxx support optional retrofit varnish modules: a full rotary flood varnish module or a full rotary spot varnish module with cold foil capability, both with flexographic station and UV lamp. Vetaphone corona treater options (2kW or 4kW) are also available.
