The ARS2xxx also supports the Gap Reset adjustable anvil system, varnish modules and corona treater as retrofit options.
Yes, ARIES uses flexible magnetic steel dies mounted on a magnetic cylinder with four alignment pins. The magnetic die plate system allows extremely fast changeovers — the die snaps quickly and securely into place, minimizing downtime between jobs. Die repeat ranges from 140mm to 360mm.
ARIES supports kiss-cut (half cut, leaving the liner intact) and full die cut, along with lamination using cold film (self-wound or with liner), matrix waste removal, slitting and rewinding. It handles both printed and unprinted media rolls.
Yes. The ARS2xxx model supports optional varnish modules as retrofit additions. Available options include a full rotary flood varnish module and a full rotary spot varnish module with cold foil capability, both with a flexographic station and UV lamp. A Vetaphone corona treater slot is also available.
The Gap Reset is an adjustable anvil system available on the particupar configuration model. It allows operators to adjust the height of the roller on the rotary module, enabling the same magnetic die plate to be used with media of different thicknesses without needing a different die or manual retooling.
ARIES is compatible with the most widely used digital label printers on the market, including models from Konica Minolta, Epson, HP, SCREEN and Afinia. Its modular design and wide media range make it suitable for inline or near-line integration with virtually any digital color label press.
